The Day you marry the one you love is a new beginning for you both.

Your choice of a Celebrant is one of the most important decisions you will make for your ceremony
The Australian Civil Marriage Ceremony allows you flexibility in most ways you wish your ceremony to be conducted.

There are parts of the wording of the ceremony which we must say by law but mostly you can design and say mostly whatever you like, Casual to Formal, Traditional into Theme Weddings.

I provide you with a Manual, which includes samples of all parts of your ceremony, eg Introductions, Vows, Poems and a selection of sample ceremonies to help you make your choice.

With your ceremony I encourage you to personalize your thoughts as much as possible so it can be “your day” to remember.

The Renewal of Vows

This Ceremony can be just as special as your Wedding day, for now you have grown together throughout the years to become one.

You may have special moments to remember, thoughts to express to each other, his is the time to do so.

Choosing your own words to convey your love and devotion to each other makes this a most memorable ceremony that can also share with family and friends.

I will work with you noting your suggestions, memories and highlights of the times you spent together, to produce a touching moment in your lives as you declare your love and the life you have shared.

You may want to use your original rings, or you may decide to give a special memento for this occasion.

A beautiful calligraphy certificate will be presented at the conclusion of your ceremony as a reminder of your special day

The Naming Ceremony

A name giving ceremony is an opportunity for family and friends to celebrate formally, and welcome a child into their community. As an alternative to religious ceremonies, it allows for the family to celebrate this happy occasion, and for the person being named to at a later date consider their own spiritual decisions.

To give a child a name is a particularly important part of receiving them-not simply as a means of distinguishing this child from another, but as the fruits of a loving process of care and reflection by the parents in choosing that name.

An important part of the ceremony is to make promises of commitment to nurture and support the child into adulthood and choose other adults prepared to promise a special supportive relationship with the child.

A commitment ceremony is for couples wishing to affirm their relationship without the legalities of marriage.

It is an ideal was for same sex partners to celebrate their relationship with family and friends.

Marriage in Australia by couples of the same sex are not yet permitted by law, though a commitment ceremony can just as meaningful to yourselves.

You will be presented with a Certificate that you can proudly display.

Together we can compose the most perfect ceremony for you and your partner.
